Roadside Assistance Questions We Get Asked Most

We don’t post prices online because every call is different. Call or text (415) 712-4161, tell us what’s going on, and we’ll give you the cost for your situation, with transparent pricing and no hidden fees. If you find a lower quote from another provider for the same service, we’ll match it. For battery calls, the service call covers the visit and diagnosis. A new battery, if you need one, is extra and we tell you first.
Yes. Tell us where you are and what fuel your vehicle takes, gas or diesel, and we’ll bring it so you can get to a station.
Often, but not always. We check the battery’s age and condition and try a jump start. A drained battery usually starts right up. If the battery has failed, we can replace it on site with a matching one.
Yes. Call or text us with your location and the car’s year, make and model. We open vehicles without damage, using proper lockout tools. Our lockout service is designed to provide fast, safe and damage-free access to your car.
We change flat tires where your car is parked, using your spare, or we can install a new tire on site if yours can’t be repaired. We can also check tire pressure and help with TPMS warnings on many vehicles.
Our average response time is about 18 minutes. It depends on where you are and where we are when you call.
We take credit and debit cards and mobile payments, and you can pay over the phone. Extra verification may be needed for phone payments.
Yes. We do jump starts and battery help for passenger cars, SUVs, commercial vehicles and semi-trucks, and we also help EV drivers.
Many Teslas and other EVs don’t carry a spare. If you get a flat, call us with your make, model and tire size, printed on the tire’s sidewall, and we’ll tell you what we can do on site.

We are open 7am to 8pm, 7 days a week. Call or text any time in those hours.

No. Axl Roadside Assistance doesn’t tow. If your car needs a shop, we’ll tell you so you can arrange a tow.
Your name, your location, your vehicle’s year, make and model, and a short description of the problem. That’s it.
If your car starts or someone else helps you, just call or text us to let us know. You can cancel shortly after booking; a cancellation fee may apply depending on the situation.
